Energy - the ability to do work
Work is a transfer of energy.
Both work and energy are measured in Joules (J).
Energy can either be kinetic or potential.
Kinetic means "moving."
Kinetic energy is the energy of motion.
Potential energy is stored as a result of position or shape.
